Small Buffet, Big Makeover

I picked up this sweet little buffet/server at an auction in Arizona before moving.  I didn’t have time to paint it there so I made my husband pack it up in the truck.  It was so cute, I couldn’t leave it behind.  Or should I say…I knew it was going to be so cute!!!

I painted the bottom with Kailua  Coral and then added a pretty stencil.Small Buffet Big Makeover ~ Vintage Street Designs (18)Here’s a closeup. Nephew and Helping Hand ~ Vintage Street DesignsThis handsome guy is my nephew and helping hand when I need it.  Paxton helped me carry the buffet out into the sunlight so I could take photos.  He’s so sweet to help his Aunt Judy!Small Buffet Big Makeover ~ Vintage Street Designs (7)She’ll be on her way to Pickin’ on the Prairie next weekend, August 16 & 17. 10300313_639907676084656_2490187175659519095_nHope you can join me!

  1. This piece is so cute! I love the striped skirt and surprise color inside. Love it!

    • Thanks Sandy…I thought it would be fun to do something different. This is my show piece for the upcoming Pickin’ on the Prairie Vintage Market next weekend. This is a new market for me in a new area so it’s going to be fun to see how it goes. :)
