A Special Father’s Day Gift

clocktowereast-spokane-night-scenesWe are on the move again!  Didn’t think we’d ever say that.   Although we’ve enjoyed Arizona, the pull to be near family is much stronger than our desire to live in year-round warm weather.  After much thought and discussion between my husband and I, he applied for a transfer.  To our amazement, it happened extremely fast.  His start date in Spokane Washington is July 7.    Wells-Fargo-SignHe has worked for Wells Fargo since February and is excited about the move.  Not only for this new position but to be closer to family.  And…the BIG bonus, access to work in this humongous barn.  My dad and brother offered their barn/shop to Dave & I until we find one of our own.  Whoohoo!!!IMAG1363Front View7Side View and the entrance to my parents home.Judy with mom & dadHere’s a photo of me with my parents back in 2007.  Can’t wait to live by this wonderful couple once again!!!  They mean the world to me!  When I called them a couple of days ago to give the news, they put me on speaker phone.  I told Dad I was giving him his Father’s Day Gift early and that it was a gift that will keep on giving…”We’re moving home!!!”  They are beside themselves elated.  Dad teared up and mom said she felt light headed.  I am so lucky to have them as parents.1454971_10151826394238034_944447274_nWe’re also going to be just a short drive away from this little cutie pie.  Bentley will turn 4 in September.  We talk on the phone, but I wonder if he really knows who he’s talking to since our visits have been few and far between.  It will be so much easier now!  He needs to know his grandma LOVES him!Kayleigh & LexiAnd…these two precious angels.  Lexi & Kayliegh.  Aren’t the beautiful?  We are feeling beyond blessed right now.  God threw the door wide open for us and we couldn’t be happier about this great opportunity.img_4223Another gorgeous view of Spokane.  Look at all that water and the trees and the green grass and….I could go on and on. spokane_clocktower_largeYes, we’ll have to put up with cold weather and snow again, but I’m pretty sure it will be worth the sacrifice!SAM_4564I will be relocating Vintage Street Designs of-course, and I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be introducing CeCe Caldwell’s Paints to Spokane as a Retailer there.  Oh, it’s going to be so much FUN!!!

Our house goes on the market tomorrow so we’re busy getting it “show ready”.  If it goes under contract right away then I’ll be able to move with Dave, otherwise I’ll be staying here until it sells.  God is always so faithful and we are thankful for His guidance.  We’ve done all we can do to get ready in such a short time so now we turn it over to Him.

I’ll take photos today of our home and post a tour tomorrow!

Judy, How wonderful is this move for you……and me! You will be much closer to Eugene, Oregon (which is were I live) and buying CCCaldwell paint will be that much closer. I am a devote follower and ardent admirerer. I follow your blog and facebook.
Sometimes I would feel so lonely out here in the North and it felt that everthing exciting was happening just west of the rockies, so to speak. Now that you’ll be coming this way, I say……you go girl! and make repurposing and makeovers POP!
