Part 2 Master Bedroom Makeover

Yes, yes, yes…the headboard is done!  I can’t even imagine doing what I do without the support and craftsmanship of my husband.  I would be so limited.  All I had to do was draw out the plans for our new headboard and he cut it out for me.  He makes it look so easy!  I’m now one step closer to our complete Master Bedroom Makeover.SAM_5594Before I show the complete finished headboard, let me show you the inspiration.10371966_767342953285747_4094925193005072131_nI was considering one of these designs but in the end, with help from all of you, I decided on (B).  However, this is a king size bed so ours doesn’t look quite the same due to size.SAM_5591I am so happy with the outcome.  It’s just the look I was going for.SAM_5592

SAM_5599So now I’m ready for part 3 and final phase of this master bedroom transformation.  I have several custom orders I’ll be working on this week plus we are getting both bathroom counter tops and sinks re-surfaced tomorrow morning (so excited).  But, I will also fit in time to re-paint my husbands nightstand and get new white curtains for the sliders.  I’m going to change up and add some decorative touches around the room.  Yay!!!  I’ll post the grand tour when it’s all done!

  1. It looks so awesome!! I really love it!! It looks very time consuming and detailed, great job!

    • Thanks Bridget! It was a little time consuming but overall it went together much easier than I thought it was going to. A pleasant surprise!!!! I’ve already drawn up the plans for the other headboard too. Maybe we’ll make that one for JITT Vintage Market! 🙂
