I don’t know about you, but we have a few projects around the house that we’ve been putting off…and this is one of them! Not because we didn’t want to build it, we just never seem to have the time. Anyway, today was the day. I’m glad now that we waiting (for several months) and you’ll see why as you keep reading!
My husband and just LOVE visiting our friends at Porter Barn Wood. They travel around the United States to bring us such beautiful architectural salvage! We purchased this vintage door months ago to use as a headboard or potting bench. It had such natural chippy goodness that we knew it must be ours! When we decided to use it as the back of a potting bench, my husband went to work drawing up the plans. Then, headed out to see what scraps of wood he had to work with to make the actual bench part of the project. Low and behold, there were all the left over boards from replacing the fence at our Condo Rehab Project. They had the same chippiness going on as the door so it made a perfect match. This will be another addition to our booth at Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market on Nov. 9.Dave added another shelf down low for added storage for pots. But wouldn’t this make a great drink station for an outdoor party too?Hey, thanks for visiting!!! Hope you are having a wonderful week!
I’m heading to Prescott tomorrow to spend some time with CeCe Caldwell and pick up some more yummy paint colors! Then I’m meeting some friends for a light dinner before attending Vendor’s Night Out with all the other vendors at Junk In The Trunk. It’s going to be a FUN and BUSY day!
