Fall Home Tour

Oh my goodness…have you been looking on Pinterest lately at all the beautiful Fall decorations?  Without spending any money, I knew I had to get into the season and do some decorating of my own!!!  I went out to the garage to see what I could find and I noticed a basket full of little vintage blocks my husband had picked up for a few dollars at an auction not long ago.  Yay, that’ll work!!!  What even made it more fun ~ my husband wanted to get on the floor with me and started spelling out words too.  We had a lot of good laughs as we raced to find certain letters we each needed. SAM_1038Here’s what my husband came up with.  I couldn’t find a spot for this but I did use his “The Great Pumpkin” as you’ll see in the coming photos!SAM_1045I’ve had these pumpkins for several years and felt they needed a little updating.  I grabbed some of CeCe Caldwell’s Vintage White and within a few minutes they were ready for their pedestals.SAM_1077

SAM_1067Dave couldn’t believe I spelled out the word “Creepy” and wanted to use it.  Haha!  I’ll changed it once Halloween is over!

Now if the weather would just cool down a bit I’d REALLY feel in the spirit of the season!  I LOVE the heat but I’m ready for a change, at-least below the triple digits!

Have you started decorating for Fall yet?  Isn’t it a beautiful time of year?  Hope you enjoyed my little tour!!!

Until next time…

I need to put an autumn wreath on it and ut it out. .I just got out my fall decorations last night and placed just a few out. So wonderful to wake up to them in my kitchen window. Thanks for your pictures, you home looks cozy and I love the blocks and the scale. Suzanne
