Simple & Sweet Phonograph Table

Another sweet rescue project!

2Before↓

SAM_3932As you can see from this before photo, this cute little table was dirty and had numerous stains on it’s top.  No worries, I did a bit of sanding to make sure none of the grim would seep through the paint then I used CeCe Caldwell’s Vermont Slate Chalk Paint for the two surfaces and Vintage White for the legs.

5After some distressing of the legs, I added clear wax and it was complete!

4Really love the way the two-tone looks.  It’s not originally what I had planned, it just evolved during the process.

This would be so pretty in a small entryway or any corner of the house.

We are celebrating my husband’s 43rd birthday today!  He is such a blessings!  Love him with my whole heart!

Until next time…

Judy

  1. Nicely done, my friend! Happy birthday to Mr. Vintage street!

    • Thanks Janie…I passed on the birthday wishes to Mr. Vintage! lol Have a great weekend!!! HUGS!!!

  2. I always wondered what these tables were called! I recently painted one and called it a parlour table. Now I know.

Don’t you love it when a piece transforms as you paint it – they all have a personality of their own. The slate and white look great together on this piece.

    Happy Birthday to Judy’s husband!!

    • Thanks Heather…I’ll pass on the birthday wishes to my husband! It’s kind of turned into a birthday week for him. We still haven’t made it to the movie of his choice…life keeps happening, but we will. :)
