Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market

AMAZING…that’s all I can say!  The Junk In The Truck gals did it again!!!  Such a blessing to be apart of such a GREAT Vintage Market.  Here are a few highlights of the show…

IMAG1271I picked up my new shirts at 5:30 pm Friday night.  Whew, just in the nick of time!  They will be for sale shortly in my Etsy store for just $20.  LOVE them!  In the meantime, keep watch ~ I’ll be having a giveaway soon!  You might just WIN one!

SAM_4552I always enjoy sharing how I get beautiful results with chalk paint techniques.  Furniture Affair is always willing to let me check out paint from their Model Home Furnishing Store to let me bring to the shows.  Note to self…must bring many, many more flyers with me to the next show.  So many were interested where they could purchase CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk Paint so they could give it a try themselves.SAM_4559Everything sold in this photo.  I’m sure it MUST be due to my great chalk art work and little basket I found to fit in the telephone stand.  (Smiles)

SAM_4558Recognize this piece?  The sofa table that was given to me by my sweet neighbor, it sold too!SAM_4549The chandeliers were in high demand, I came home empty handed.

IMG_20130427_134654My good friend Bridget from Grungy Galz makes these cute chandeliers from salvage items.  She has such creative talent!SAM_4545

IMAG1280And this piece was the biggest hit of the day!  Duck Egg Blue Distressed Buffet!  Sold and have an order for another.  Luckily I have another one in stock awaiting a makeover.
SAM_4550I’ve never taken unfinished pieces to a show before.  But it was a BIG success!  This three piece set sold to a professional upholsterer.  I can only imagine how wonderful it’s going to look once she’s done with it!IMAG1272Once again, it was so nice to see all my friends (Vendors & Customers) both old and new!  And it’s always a pleasure to meet faithful followers of my blog and FB in person, thank you for coming out in the 100 degree weather and sharing your day with us!

Thanks again to Lindsey & Coley of Junk In The Trunk for such a successful show!  We really appreciate you two and all your staff!

Finally…I can’t sign off with out thanking God for all His many blessings!  I give Him all the glory!

Hope you are having a very special Sunday ~ Judy

  1. It sounds like you had a successful day, Judy! What a nice big area you had for all your furniture, too. I’m not surprised all those pieces sold ~ they are all beautiful. I love that buffet. I did a dresser that has a similar shape for our master bedroom in Duck Egg and just love it.

    • Thanks Kathy…you are right, we had a nice big space (two trailer loads to fill it). I LOVE the finish of the buffet too, I bet your dresser is gorgeous! HUGS!!! ~ Judy

  2. Wow Judy…just wow!!! Great job. Every single piece is just beautiful. I bet it was such a fun day. I can’t wait to see the shirts :)

    • Thanks Lynn…it really was a fun day! It was in the Phoenix paper as one of the top ten events for last weekend. The attendance was double for the last one! Have a great week! ~ Judy

  3. So much great stuff! I wish I could have grabbed those rusty arrows! I really live in the wrong part of the US! So glad it went so well for you!

    • Thanks Jill…wish you lived closer too! It was such a fun time! There is another one in November ~ hint, hint!!! Yep, sold both the arrows, maybe I should of kept one for myself! :) HUGS!!! ~ Judy

  4. Looks like an amazing day, Judy. Certainly worth all the time and effort you put into it. Congraulations.

    • Thanks Heather…it really was worth it all. Next one is in November, shouldn’t be 100 degree weather then. Between the show and the heat, we were wiped out for two days! :)

  5. Angelina says:

I was there! I was wearing a JITT tee. Absolutely loved it. I didn’t realize when I was talking to you that I just subscribed to your blog the night before. I love your work. You talked about the Furniture Affair as a place to get the chalk paint, but I can’t remember, do you sell your stuff there as well or just from your home? I don’t think you had any chandeliers left by the time I came through. What do the fancy ones usually run? I didn’t buy any refinished furniture this time, it was my first time and I wasn’t prepared, but I love to find unfinished mostly so I can work on it for our home. Next time in Nov I will though. I hope you attend it then too. By then I will be familiar with your blog and be sure to hit your space first. I’m so glad the show was a success.

    • Hi Angelina…so happy to have you following along! I do sell my furniture at Furniture Affair. My space is right up front next to the painting area where all the chalk paint is sold. Would love to have you stop by. Furniture Affair also sells pieces that require some love so you may be able to find pieces there that you could paint. I will definitely be at the November show too. Wouldn’t miss it! :) Chandeliers very in pricing. The crystal chandelier I had hanging from the center of my tent sold for $150. Hope this helps! Have a fabulous rest of the week! ~ Judy
