Look What We Made Today…

Today I had my friend Anessa over to teach her a few tricks of the trade!  Just look what she made ~

This cute little crate my husband made was the perfect backdrop for this graphite transfer method.  The graphic came from the The Graphic Fairy.
The crate was first painted with Vintage White and Kansas Wheat from CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk Paint collection.  Anessa chose to highly distress three sides and then only distress the edges of the front.  She then chose to use a mixture of clear and dark wax for an aging finish.  I wish you could see it in person…it turned out beautifully for her first time of every doing using this process!  Whoohoo…way to go Anessa!!!

She also learned how to do the Blender Method Transfer Method on this bunting I had made earlier.  The fork, knife and spoon bunting will look so sweet in her kitchen!

What fun!  Thanks Anessa for coming over and playing  today!
