World Market Accent Table Makeover

I have a client who bought this sweet little accent table from Cost Plus World Market on clearance and although she loves the table, it just wasn’t the right color for her decor.  When she brought me the table to makeover, she noticed our rustic headboard my husband and I made for a vintage door and knew right away it was the finish she wanted for her new table.  I started by painting a layer of Warm Muffin Yellow and then three coats of Vintage White.  Then I plugged in the power sander and the fun began.  When finished, I wiped it all down with a damp cloth and mixed up a batch of clear and dark wax.  I used my nifty little round brush I purchased for $1.00 at the craft show in Quartzsite, AZ last month to apply the wax.  (Wish I would have bought a dozen of these little brushes.)

I know I tood my own before pic of this table but do you think I can find it now?  Aww…NO!  Sometimes I wonder!!!  Luckily I found it on World Market’s website!

I wonder what she’s going put in all these drawers and write on all these labels?  How fun!

Oooo…you are getting a sneak peak of my husband’s latest project in the background…gorgeous farm table.  I’ll post more on that later!

Your mention of Quartz site revived many memories. We used to go to the River at Martinez Lake and Fishers Landing when we lived in San Diego area. I still miss all the fun we had. We hung out with our adult kids and their friends. We also lived in Tucson before San Diego.
    Happy Week
