Ugly Duckling

Remember how I mentioned my husband said “No More Chairs”?  Well, that was last week…yesterday I picked up this poor thing for just $5.00.  I can’t wait to dive into it!  I’m determined to make it beeeeeeautiful again.  The back will still be tufted with covered accent buttons and it will probably be painted white and distressed.  I just purchased some fun new fabric this week too!!!  What do you think?

    I think it was a great price, but I agree it is an ugly duckling. Can’t wait to see what color you recover it in, Im sure you can make it a beauty again:)

    I picked one up very similar looking with green velvet. I’m curious to see your outcome. I know what I want mine to look like, I just don’t know how to go about it with the buttons.

    I don’t think your chair is faux wood by the way!

      We’ll have to compare notes when we’re all done! I’m thinking about going a little crazy with this one and NOT playing it safe like I usually do. It will take me a little longer to re-do but it will be fun! Let me know when you’ve posted yours I’d love to see it! :)
