Junk’n Weekend!!!

Did you find anything good this weekend?  I started out yesterday morning going to Estate Sales and pretty much came up empty handed.  My only purchases on Saturday were several yardsticks and a paddle.  Yikes!!!  But, today was a different story!!!  Yeah…so happy to share my new treasures ~ Vintage Singer sewing machine turned table with slate top (so heavy that my husband dented the truck while lifting into the back end), solid wood console to paint, two stools and a darling little statue perfect for Easter.  She has such a sweet  face and wouldn’t her basket be cute filled with Easter eggs, candy or a bouquet of flowers?  We also found a bike for my husband.  Now we can go on some long bike rides like we used to.  He sold his bike before we moved and I’ve been dying to go riding.  There are so many trails for walkers and bikers here in AZ that I want to explore!

So I have enough projects to keep me busy this week but I’m still on the lookout for more goodies.  I’m short on dressers, buffets, dining tables, end tables/night stands and desks.  I just can’t keep them in stock.  A few months ago, every time I went out junk’n, I’d come home with a truck load but it’s been slim pickings lately for some reason.  Sometimes it’s just feast or famine I guess!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend and found lots of fun stuff…would LOVE to hear about it!
