French Grey Dresser

So, so thankful for my friend Denise who bid on this dresser for me at a recent auction.  It was the only thing I wanted and it was going to be hours before it came up for bid, so Denise offered to bid on it for me so I could come home and work on all my other projects.  She got it for a GREAT price and needless to say…I was soooo excited!!!  BIG HUGS to you Denise!!!

I LOVE the original pulls on this dresser but I noticed one was missing a part.  I thought I would just replace it and one other and put two crystal knobs on the top drawer and call it good.  But when we got it home, to our delight, my husband found the part in the second drawer down!  We kinda jumped up and down for joy!

I envisioned this dresser in Paris Grey from ASCP, however when I went to purchase a can it was out-of-stock.  So I did the next best thing, made my own.  Back to Home Depot I went and found a beautiful light grey and just added my mixture of Plaster of Paris and water and the painting began.

After the paint was dry I sanded the edges and all the other details then sealed it with a mixture of clear and dark wax for aged look.

These photos were all taken outside of Furniture Affair this morning as we were delivering several new items.

This beauty is priced at just $249.00
