Afternoon of Shopping

Our youngest son Bronson is here visiting us from PA. so we enjoyed an early Christmas with him yesterday since he will be leaving on Friday.  Today we went to iPic and had lunch while watching the Hobbit.

 Afterwards, we strolled along the streets in Scottsdale weaving in and out of all my favorite stores.  The boys were real troopers while I shopped.  I thought I would share a few of my favorite things I saw today to add to my “someday wish list”.

First stop was Z Gallerie  and my eye caught this fluffy feather wreath with a touch of silver glitter.

Next stop ~ Anthropologie, I LOVE this little white owl pencil holder for my new work area in the garage.


We then made our way to West Elm where I found this light fixture.  I’ve been looking for a vintage chandelier but I’m kinda liking this 5 Jar Chandelier so I might be changing my mind.  (I will wait until it goes on sale though.)


I also found this Christmas stocking at West Elm but I must say it looks better in person.  It was on sale and if I didn’t already own several stockings it would have come home with me!!!


We are having a wonderful time with our son and we’re so thankful he was able to come spend this time with us.  Hope you are all enjoying this Holiday Season!

    I’m so happy for you to have your son visit even if it was only for a few days. You got to see him. Sounds like you have all the great stores in Scottsdale. I’m from Tucson (years ago) but visited in 2008 so know they have many great stores. I live west of Grand Junction, CO and we don’t have much here at all. I lived in San Diego area for 21 yrs. (left in 92) but know all the great stores. After San Diego we moved to MT and there was just about nothing in Helena in 92.
    Our oldest son lives in El Cajon, a city east of San Diego, his 50th. b/d is Friday. We’d so love to be able to be there with him for his b/d and for Christmas. His 2 boys got there from Kentucky yesterday so he’s really happy.
    Enjoy your holidays. Your son sure looked happy to be home with his family.

      Thanks you so much…we have been enjoying our time together. He leaves tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well. Thank goodness for cell phones so we can keep in touch with all our family around the world. When I was young and first moved away from home it was too expensive to talk much on the phone so we wrote a lot of letters. Now we have internet & unlimited calling. It’s a beautiful thing! :)
