Vintage Record Cabinet Redo

Oh my goodness…today my hubs took me out for a much needed day off from painting.  I have to admit, it was wonderful.  We did some shopping and then went to an afternoon movie!  I did manage to take a few pictures yesterday and this morning though.  Here’s one of the items I’ve been working on for this weekend’s show at Recycled Ranch.  I really wanted to do something with color.  This is CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk Paint ~ Dustin Gulf Green.  I used a mix of clear and dark wax for the finish.  Whenever I can save the top of a piece, I do.  Actually, my husband sanded it down and stained it with a dark walnut stain before I painted it.  I can see this piece in someone’s craft room to store scrapbooking material or decorating magazines.

Well, the dinner bell is ringing, hope everyone has a lovely evening!
