Coastal Inspired Makeover

OK…this is pretty exciting if I do say so myself.  I was commissioned by a friend who owns New To You Upscale Resale in Peoria, AZ to makeover a three bar stools and a coffee table that were looking, shall we say… a bit tired.  I picked them up over the weekend and got started right away!  After a few layers of paint, sanding and waxing with a mix of clear & dark wax ~ here are the results!  But the excitement doesn’t stop here…after replacing my stools and putting these stools up to my bar for the photo shoot, I just couldn’t part with them!  Don’t they look pretty?  So, this morning we delivered only one bar stool and the coffee table back to New To You.  We cut a deal and YEAH, I get to keep the stools!!!  I just have to give a BIG “Shout Out” to New To You.  What a sweet bunch!  If you are ever in the area it’s definitely worth the stop.  They have everything from jewelry to furniture.  I had to leave before I purchased another Coach purse!

The “before” pic ↓

New seat cushions upholstered in fabric named Osnaburg.  Such a great texture and neutral color.  You can find it at Hobby Lobby, Joann’s and Walmart.

Can’t you just picture this coffee table in the living room of a seaside cottage?  Or…here in Arizona, looking out over the pool.

A sincere thank you to New To You…I LOVE my new bar stools!
