Rustic Antique Desk

This is just another sample of what’s to come next weekend at Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market!  I put some extra love into this old rustic desk.  It’s missing a couple of parts but nothing you can’t live without!  I’m pretty sure there use to be a drawer underneath the desk top at some point in time and maybe even a hinged cover.  But…whatever the case maybe, it’s been made beautiful and functional again just the way it is!  I piled on several layers of paint (white, green, stone) then massively sanded and stained with dark walnut.  I must say, this piece was a fun one to do.  Wouldn’t it be great if all our treasures came together this easy and turned out exactly the way you intended them to?  Love it when a plan comes together!

Looks like I still need to do a little dusting in the cubbies! Haha!

Desk top pulls out for more work space!
