All Dressed Up ~ Refinished Dresser

Getting ready for Junk In The Trunk ~ Scottsdale, AZ.

All dressed up and ready to go!  This pretty dresser was finished in duck egg blue, stenciled  in white, sanded and antiqued with dark walnut stain!  Then came the jewelry (which is the most important part in my opinion), the glass knobs!!!

I’ll try to post as many pictures as I can this week as I complete each project for the show!

So…stay tuned!!!

Almost forgot to take the “before” pic!

  1. Beautiful!

  2. Lovely detailing with the stenciling and the knobs!

  3. I love the stencil behind the knob I am definitely going to try this! I just started using AS dark wax and I love it!!

    • Awesome…I just mixed my waxes for the first time the other day. Mixing clear with the dark, I found I had better control of the dark wax. It’s a great product. Tuesday ~ I’ll be trying CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk Paint for the first time. Fun!

  4. Love your blog! I’m such a fan of furniture makeovers! Have several on my blog but still learning. This dresser is awesome! I had a similar idea with a nightstand of mine with a paler shade of blue. Great minds think alike they say:) Thanks for the follow, happily following you now too!

  6. WOW~~ How stunning your dresser is and I love the stencil and gorgeous knobs. I do lots of furniture too, not to sell on line anylonger but locally at times. Your creation is very inspiring. I have really enjoyed my visit and I am a new follower of your wonderful blog now too. Thank you for stopping by to visit, your kind comment and also new following.
Happy Creating and have a great week.

    • Thank you so much for your visit and for following back! I’ve been asked to ship items but I only accept local pickup as well. It’s just to expensive. I am very thankful that I’m kept plenty busy with the business I have. It’s so much fun! Thanks again ~ Judy

  7. It’s beautiful! What an amazing transformation!

  8. Such a gorgeous transformation. Think the stenciling around the glass knobs is exquisite. Somehow glass knobs make anything look so much better. Love the color and all. It looked like a very sturdy dresser before you did your magic. Wish I could buy that baby, would be lovely in our room or even better in our master bath. I would store my linens in it.

  9. That is beautiful! I love the delicate detail!
