The Brush Goes Flying

Here’s a little sneak peak of something I’m working on!  I have wanted to try a new transfer process so today was finally the day.  The transfer was easy (I’ll share how I did it in a later post) but as soon as I picked up the brush, dipped it in black paint, somehow it escaped from my grip and went flying.  Who would have thought this tiny little brush could do so much damage.  Not only did it splatter all over my masterpiece, it proceeded to fly down and hit the coffee table I just finished painting white.  But wait, it didn’t stop there, it went on to it’s final destination ~ the floor!  I screamed, my husband jumped, and as soon as he saw the mess he started laughing!  Luckily, quick action of a wet rag cleaned it all up!  Whoo…just thought I’d share with you the trials of my afternoon!  I’m not quite finished with the project but I’ll be done tomorrow so photos will be following shortly.  I’m off to an auction now for the rest of the evening…It’s a wonderful life!!!  Hope everyone has a great weekend.

  1. Funny, I had a day like that a while back, I dropped a half gallon of paint on the kitchen floor, cleaned it up, stripped off my clothes threw them in the washer and then looked for my phone……In the washer LOL!
