Numbered Nesting Tables

When I saw the beautiful Shabby Numbered Nesting Tables by Not All That I Seem I knew that I would have to find a set to redo myself.  So, as you can imagine I was jumping with joy last week-end when I spotted these little tables set back in a booth at our local swap meet.  I brought them home, gave them a much needed cleaning and then proceeded to give them three coats of fresh white paint.  While they were drying I chose a font, adjusted the size for each table and then printed them out on heavy paper.  Next, I cut out my patterns and with careful measuring, traced  them onto each table.  I have noticed that several fellow crafters use Sharpies so I gave it a try but just didn’t like the finished product so I got out my trusted paint brush and filled each letter and number in with black paint…much better!!!  Each piece received a light sanding to distress.  A big thank you to Not All That I Seem for this very sweet idea!

Hear’s another great idea from Dear Emmeline for nesting tables.  I would love to try this next!

Do you like my new photo frame?  My husband, Mr. Property Dave got a new toy ~ Photoshop ~ It’s so exciting to see all the pretty things we can create now.  Thanks sweetie for helping to beautify my blog.  He’s working now on all new price tags for my Vintage Street Boutique, making them look shabby, swirly and girly.
