Burlap Wreath

I saw this burlap wreath on Pinterest and knew right away I wanted to make it.  It looks really good up against our freshly painted front door but I don’t have a door hanger yet so I hung it on our front gate for now.  The wreath was easy to make, just time consuming.  I sat outside in the shade while putting it together and it saved the house from getting messy!

I used 5″ strips of burlap, folded them together like an accordion, stick a 22 gauge wire through it and attached the burlap to a wreath wire form.  Then I added a shear cream wire ribbon to accent and attach to our gate.
I picked up the burlap on sale at Joann Fabric for $2.99 a yard and the wreath form came from Hobby Lobby for just $2.99 plus the 40% off coupon.
